The Mount Pleasant Hotel has 17 lovely bedrooms with en suites. In keeping with such a historic building each room in the hotel is different from the next. Imaginatively decorated and furnished, they boast a mix of designer wallpapers, fabrics and lampshades & feature mirrors. Deluxe and superior rooms have silk or linen curtains with interlinings. From classic country house style to shabby chic, often with a boutique hotel feel they are an eclectic mix.
Our deluxe and superior hotel rooms are situated on the first & second floors. They overlook the front or side of the hotel and boast lovely views of the garden and from the second floor across to the west side of the valley or the picturesque National Trust area, the Byes, where on its way to meet the coast is the River Sid. Rooms on the 2nd floor are light and airy most with views over the garden or the Byes. Standard hotel rooms are on the first & second floor to the rear of the hotel. We also have three ground floor double rooms. Our delightful bedrooms and their en suites vary in size, shape and outlook as the hotel attracts certain restrictions due to its Grade II listing.
As well as benefiting from a hospitality tray, complimentary bottled mineral water & luxury toiletries we can also add some extra touches to make your stay at The Mount Pleasant Hotel a little more special - perhaps a bottle of wine or something sparkling, beautiful flowers or tempting chocolates. Just let us know and we can arrange these for you.
